He completed a two-year communication job at UNICEF Country Office in Sierra Leone recently. Earlier, he was leading the advocacy and communications work of the UN system in Sierra Leone during the Ebola outbreak. Prior to that, he worked with several UN organisations, private and public media houses in Mongolia, South Sudan, and Ethiopia. In fact, he started his career as a journalist in Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency (today’s EBC) which is the largest broadcaster in the country.
Tikue has solid experience in developing and implementing a communication and advocacy programme, and an MA and BA Degrees in Peace, as well as, English and Communication.
