Solomon has a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Gondar University and a Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has certificates in Procurement of Goods and Works by the World Bank, in Health Supply Chain Capacity Development by PSA, and Drugs Supply and Management, Quantification and Procurement of Commodities by SCMS Ethiopia, among others.
From 2008-2012, Solomon worked as Head of Pharmacy and Supply Manager at St Peter Hospital, Ethiopia, which provided him with insightful experience in working at a health facility. Until 2015, he was a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager at the National Pharmaceuticals Fund and Supply Agency (currently EPSA).
Before joining PSA, Solomon was the Executive Medical Representative and Key Accounts Manager at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Ethiopia.
He won several awards for excellent performance and hard work for EPSA, Novartis Pharmaceuticals and others.
