Jibrailu is a seasoned professional specialised in designing and delivering sales, marketing, and supply chain management training and capacity development for organisations in the pharmaceutical industry and for NGOs.
Starting out in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, he soon became business development manager for the northern region of Nigeria, overseeing operations in 19 States. He then left the sector in 2014 to join Crown Agents UK as State logistics and Supply Chain Management Coordinator. This role supported Kano State under the DFID-funded Northern Nigeria approach to neglected tropical diseases.
With the GF-funded Nigeria Integrated Supply Chain Project, Jibrailu was the lead consultant for Coordination and Strategy in Kano State. After successfully improving the operations of the Logistics Management Coordinating Unit, he joined the FHI360-GF Investing for Impact Against HIV/AIDS Project as Senior Technical Advisor, Logistics and Team Lead for PSM Downstream.
Brought up by peasant farmers in Adamawa State, Jibrailu understands what necessity and poverty looks and feels like. This humble beginning has shaped his values on integrity, commitment, determination and faith. He is keen on developing systems and people to help those facing similar circumstances.
Jibrailu holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, an MBA in marketing, a Masters degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy, and a Master of Science degree in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He is certified by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply and as a PMI-Project Management Professional.
