Jerry is a strong relationship manager with proven ability to coordinate among a variety of stakeholders across government, business, geographic and cultural diversities. He is passionate about service delivery and has a keen interest in scaling technical interventions, enhancing systems and promoting local ownership.
Jerry’s career in the development sector started off in a faith-based organisation – the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria. There, he assisted the Church and Society Department (today known as the Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria) with learning needs assessments, with the development of training materials and learning aids, and he facilitated behavioral change programmes on HIV and AIDS prevention.
Thereafter, he joined John Snow Incorporated under the USAID | DELIVER and Supply Chain Management System Projects, where became a Program Advisor and remained for over four years. His role was to provide technical direction on supply chain planning, capacity building and monitoring support across health and humanitarian matters.
Upon expiration of the project term, Jerry joined Chemonics International Incorporated for the USAID Global Health Procurement and Supply Management Project as a Field Programme Logistics Advisor. He was in charge of meeting critical health logistics challenges and improving access to high-quality health commodities.
Jerry’s motivation to continually seek opportunities to ensure that essential commodities gets to the most remote places and his dedication to the well-being of the end user led him to PSA, where he coordinates our assistance to the Supply Chain Transformation Programmes.
