WiSCL initiative aims to create a “brain trust” network of women professionals in logistics and supply chain management. The overall goal of the initiative is to address the talent gap and consequent gender imbalance in health and humanitarian logistics through the formation of a professional cadre of women logisticians and supply chain professionals in Africa.

WiSCL‘s focus is on bolstering Africa’s supply chain skills by promoting the role of women professionals and boosting women performance to establish a tradition of excellence among its members through functional mentorship and coaching. WiSCL will approach by this strengthening the positions of women professionals already in the field, amplifying the impact of their work and working towards recruitment of more women.
